About the Role

Our global Fintech client is seeking a Search Engine Marketing + Paid Search Lead to join their in-house agency team for a 12-month period. The role involves developing and executing high-impact SEM campaigns that drive measurable business outcomes. The position is onsite in Manhattan, NY or downtown Chicago, IL, working 40 hours per week. The SEM + Paid Search Lead functions as an internal agency partner to various Lines of Business, requiring strategic thinking, hands-on execution, and strong communication skills to present to senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end SEM campaign management, from planning to execution and reporting
Develop strategic search marketing plans aligned with business goals
Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reconciliations
Communicate performance insights and optimization strategies to stakeholders
Build strong relationships with internal clients and cross-functional teams
Ensure adherence to firmwide processes and media protocols
Promote knowledge sharing and best practices across Lines of Business

Requirements

5+ years of SEM experience managing large-scale, acquisition-focused campaigns
Expertise in Google Ads and Microsoft Ads platforms
Strong analytical and communication skills
Proven ability to manage client relationships and present to senior stakeholders
Hands-on experience with campaign execution and optimization
Experience with SA 360, Adobe, Marin, and other third-party tools (preferred)
Google Ads certification
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Agency background preferred
Financial services experience is a plus
Strong project management and organizational skills
Self-starter with a collaborative mindset

Current authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
