Key Responsibilities

  • Support execution of quantitative and qualitative primary consumer research efforts and translate research into meaningful, actionable insights for the C-suite.
  • Communicate research findings and recommendations to internal consulting teams working on complex strategy cases for major brands.
  • Contribute to client projects by designing, executing, and synthesizing research to inform strategy, such as survey writing, developing research methodologies, and analyzing data.
  • Support commercialization efforts for CCI by providing insights and advice for proposals and client workshops.
  • Contribute to the development of intellectual property, best practice training materials, and proprietary frameworks related to customer insights and research.
  • Guide generalist consultants on the execution of research and develop state-of-the-art tools in collaboration with Knowledge Team peers.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of consulting experience including the design and execution of primary customer research or 3+ years market research agency experience (4-6+ years strongly preferred).
  • Experience with the full lifecycle of consumer research: designing approach/sample, writing questionnaires, managing fieldwork, developing analytic plans, analyzing data, and preparing deliverables.
  • Proficiency in quantitative research methodologies and familiarity with tools such as Excel (required), and Alteryx, SPSS, Tableau (a plus).
  • Experience with research methodologies like segmentation, MaxDiff, TURF, conjoint, focus groups, online communities, etc.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Fluency in English required; fluency in Spanish a plus.
  • Strong business acumen, problem-solving skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, complex, and ambiguous environment, with flexibility and a curious, creative mindset.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with qualitative research and social listening.
  • Experience conducting research in Financial Services, Insurance, Technology, Media, and/or Telecommunications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; advanced degree preferred.

  • Total compensation includes base salary, discretionary performance bonus, profit sharing, and a comprehensive benefits package.
  • Base salary between $115,700- $119,500 (USD).
  • Annual discretionary performance bonus between 0-24%.
  • 5% Profit Sharing Retirement Fund contribution, increasing to 10% after two years.
