Senior Analyst, Marketing Analytics

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct analyses focused on optimizing and understanding marketing performance, sales effectiveness, client retention, and lifetime customer value.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, product, and sales departments to deliver actionable insights that help meet company goals.
• Utilize SQL, Excel, Snowflake, Salesforce, and related dataset manipulation, and data visualization including Looker to conduct insightful analyses on major sales and marketing initiatives, operational trends, challenges, and opportunities.
• Use platforms such as Heap, FullStory, and Demandbase to drive improvements in conversion rates and lead quality.
• Utilize predictive analytics to conduct Pricing Analysis to maximize profits and deliver competitive CPL and CPA bids.
• Analyze sales funnel metrics including EBIT and M/E to secure high-quality data.
• Present findings to stakeholders and recommend actionable solutions for non-analytical partners including senior leadership.
• Re-define and challenge company marketing and acquisition KPIs that are critical to achieving company and business unit goals.
• Analyze technology trends to identify markets for future product development or to improve marketing of existing products.
• Build and maintain automated reporting and dashboards to track key metrics.
• Work closely with the product and operations teams in defining tests and experimental design.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Business or marketing analytics, data science, or closely related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in marketing or data analysis, product marketing, or a closely related area.
• Experience utilizing Looker and SQL Runner to develop dashboards and reports, conduct diagnostic and time series analysis, and present strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
• Experience executing ETL processes from databases including Snowflake and Salesforce using SQL and Advanced Excel, and collaborating with BI and data operations teams.
• Proficiency in utilizing predictive analytics for Pricing Analysis and sales funnel metrics such as EBIT and M/E.
• Experience using platforms like Heap, FullStory, and Demandbase to analyze user interactions, track and analyze web flow, and improve conversion rates and lead quality.

Nice to Have

• Experience with web analytics tools such as Heap, FullStory, and Demandbase.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools and dashboard creation.
• Experience working in a fast-growing organization or in a marketing analytics role.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Business or marketing analytics, data science, or a closely related field.
• 1 year of relevant experience in marketing or data analysis roles.
