Senior Brand Manager - Kenra

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the development of the innovation pipeline to support the Kenra brand's 5-year strategic plan
• Lead all phases of formula development and new product innovation, driving entire PD process and stage gate processes. Lead team of brand managers to ensure all milestones are met
• Determine COG targets and own pricing process to ensure P&L targets are achieved
• Analyze customer, category, and performance data to uncover insights and identify growth opportunities; translate insights into winning concepts and initiatives/ campaigns
• Own the entire product lifestyle and develop, evolve, and execute brand strategies for care and aerosol categories
• Lead internal communication and collaboration with cross-functional partners regarding product briefs, formula evaluation, regulatory timelines, copy and claims, artwork, go-to-market initiatives and customer presentations
• Lead relationship with Integrated Marketing teams to conceptualize content, campaigns, photo-shoots and assets from concept to execution
• Mentor team members to reach brand and individual career goals

Requirements

• 5-7+ years' experience in product development, brand marketing, or innovation roles
• Bachelor's degree required
• Proven track record of crafting campaigns that dazzle, excite, and inspire action
• Comfortable working with data to evaluate success and refine approaches for continuous improvement
• A love for the beauty industry, along with a pulse on emerging trends and consumer behavior
• A confident and empowering leader who thrives on collaboration and knows how to inspire teams to achieve greatness
• Exceptional storytelling skills with the ability to captivate an audience, both in-person and across platforms
• Must be able to commute to the Culver City office 3x/week
• Must be able to travel up to 15%
