Key Responsibilities

  • Utilizes the Nordson Business System, NBS Next, to ensure the segment focuses on the most attractive growth opportunities to drive organic growth above the market.
  • Collaborates with divisions to develop and deploy strategic initiatives to deliver long-term profitable growth.
  • Drives ongoing competitive analysis at the division level and develops strategies to increase market share in attractive applications or therapies.
  • Develops and maintains long-term relationships with top customers and industry professionals, positioning Nordson Medical as a respected subject matter expert.
  • Works with divisions to develop and execute innovation pipelines and product roadmaps that meet vitality targets for organic growth.
  • Provides guidance to marketing communication teams to optimize lead generation and strengthen global brand awareness.
  • Participates in and supports strategic and operating plan processes per division, working with executive leadership and cross-functional partners.
  • Demonstrates strong talent management by hiring and developing high-performing, engaged marketing professionals throughout the segment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field; Master's Degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in a marketing or commercial leadership role within the proprietary medical device industry.
  • Experience developing and leading strategic growth plans with a proven track record of growth and results.
  • Experience in strategic marketing, planning, and analysis, including leading products through full life cycle.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic growth plans.
  • Strong negotiation, relationship management, facilitation, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain executive-level relationships with end customers and industry leaders.
  • Strategic and critical thinking abilities, strong analytical skills, and financial acumen.
  • Proven leadership skills including team building, collaboration, accountability, and innovative thinking.
  • Results-oriented approach focused on developing growth-minded teams.
  • Experience with market research, competitive analysis, product line management, and brand management.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, team-based environment across multiple divisions and geographies.

  • Experience in strategic marketing and planning within the medical device industry.
  • Experience leading products through full life cycle.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in multiple geographies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • 15+ years of professional experience in medical device marketing or commercial leadership.
