DAFgiving360 has entered into a services agreement with Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. for administrative and other services, including human resources. This position will be an employee of Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. and will be subject to its policies and procedures but will report to and be accountable to DAFgiving360 for day-to-day activities. The role involves proactive outbound sales activities to onboard Advisors, creating relationships with partners in Schwab Advisors Services Sales, Business Development and Transition Services, and leveraging data to identify and prioritize sales efforts towards firms with growth potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing high-impact presentations for key audiences including senior leaders at DAFgiving360, Charles Schwab & Co., and industry forums within the financial services and non-profit sectors.
  • Creating trusted senior-level partnerships across DAFgiving360 and Charles Schwab & Co. to prioritize the new Business Development function and expand key client and advisor relationships.
  • Collaborate with internal and external business partners, such as Charitable Consulting, Donor Relations, Charitable Strategies Group and Schwab Advisor Services to enhance the client experience and encourage additional lead sources.
  • Apply strategic organizational priorities and segmentation to identify target partners and clients for prioritized engagement and sales activities.
  • Deliver presentations that make an impact or influence audiences of various disciplines via several mediums and platforms.
  • Provide assistance to the Managers on the Business Development team with responding to leads created through various channels.
  • Act as an Ambassador for DAFgiving360, effectively communicating the value proposition of our solution to prospective donors, advisors, and partners.
  • Apply a broad range of knowledge, skills, and experiences in charitable giving to provide guidance and potential solutions to prospective donors and Advisors.
  • Participate in identifying possible policy and procedural changes within the organization to improve the business.
  • Exercise judgment in determining the best methods, techniques, and approaches for obtaining results.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Experience with Donor Advised Funds or working with third-party Registered Investment Advisors.
  • Outstanding persuasive sales, relationship management, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce for identifying, qualifying, prioritizing, and recording new business opportunities.
  • Demonstrated passion for sales and philanthropy.
  • Outstanding ability as a visual storyteller and experienced PowerPoint user who can craft concise, compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
  • High agility and ability to lead with a growth mentality, influencing and delivering results across multiple projects in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
  • 8+ years of professional experience and a college degree or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment by absorbing and applying complex information quickly.
  • Well-developed time management skills with the ability to organize and manage competing priorities.
  • Ability to encourage innovation and change by seeking diverse perspectives for continuous improvement.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work extended hours during peak season (mid-November to February).
  • Ability to travel around 25%.

  • Experience working with charitable organizations or philanthropic tools.
  • Experience in financial services or non-profit sectors beyond the core requirements.

  • College degree or equivalent experience.
