Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with sales and product management in prioritizing work, ensuring tools, materials, sales aides, competitive positioning, value propositions, and outcome improvements align with customer needs and product offerings.
  • Translate business strategy and priorities into marketing strategies at the global and regional levels.
  • Analyze market size, growth, key drivers, and understand decision-making and purchasing processes for customers.
  • Become an internal subject matter authority across the portfolio and communicate customer insights across the organization.
  • Clarify portfolio and product-specific value propositions and positioning relative to customer pain points and competitors, including key features, benefits, and clinical/economic messaging.
  • Implement omnichannel strategy and modernize Baxter's approach to media, content, and events.
  • Develop marketing plans for outside developed markets and enable growth internationally.
  • Lead tactical execution plans including launch timelines, milestones, marketing campaigns, sales tools, segment and customer targeting, and education programs.
  • Develop KPIs and metrics to track progress, report to senior leadership, and measure campaign effectiveness.
  • Create and manage industry-facing content such as web content and social media, ensuring rapid delivery aligned with business needs.
  • Deliver promotional programs pre-launch, launch, and post-launch to increase product adoption and market penetration.
  • Develop lead generation campaigns and measure their effectiveness using metrics like MQL/SAL.
  • Maintain expertise on competitors' connected care portfolios and promote understanding within the sales team.
  • Support product launches, field sales, and other marketing activities.
  • Collaborate with Medical Affairs to guide high-value studies supporting key claims and establish Baxter's presence.
  • Identify process gaps and simplify content creation workflows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or graduate degree is a plus.
  • 3-5 years of prior marketing experience with a proven track record of successful campaigns.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data for marketing decisions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.
  • Strong understanding of marketing automation tools and Salesforce.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong work ethic and comfort with ambiguity.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%, including internationally.
  • Availability to work 3 days per week in the Raleigh, NC office, with secondary options in Deerfield, IL; Skaneateles, NY; Batesville, IN; Bellevue, WA.

Nice to Have

  • Technical understanding of IT and connected care environments.
  • Robust knowledge of clinical processes and workflows.
  • Understanding of IP networking, enterprise IT/IoT solutions, cloud, and on-prem solutions.

Qualifications

  • Educational background with a Bachelor's degree; MBA or graduate degree is advantageous.
  • 3-5 years of marketing experience with a successful campaign record.
  • Preferred experience in healthcare industry.
