About the Role

Udemy is a global company headquartered in San Francisco, with additional U.S. offices in Denver and Austin, and international hubs in Australia, India, Ireland, Mexico, and Türkiye. This is an in-office position, requiring three days a week in the office (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and flexibility on Mondays and Fridays. The Performance and Growth Marketing team is looking for a B2B paid search expert to help manage, optimize, and grow a paid acquisition program with a multi-million dollar budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, optimize, and report on performance across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads (Bing) acquisition programs primarily focused on paid search, but also including top-of-funnel campaign types (video, display, etc).
  • Monitor and optimize the program's pacing toward quarterly budgets while optimizing for sales pipeline, closed-won revenue, and ROAS targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (creative, product, data science, legal, and other teams) and external partners (media agency, Google account team, and other vendors) to drive your projects forward.
  • Identify opportunities for the program's improvement, formulate test hypotheses, and design and launch tests to validate your hypotheses.
  • Maintain the highest standard of account quality by monitoring competition, auction insights, ad relevance, and keyword quality scores.
  • Learn and lean into AI tools to improve the effectiveness of campaign management and the velocity of testing.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of work experience in performance marketing, primarily in paid search.
  • Experience managing B2B paid search programs with at least $250K in monthly investment, optimizing toward sales pipeline or closed-won revenue while maximizing ROAS.
  • Experience managing multiple cross-functional stakeholders/projects at once.
  • Experience designing, launching, and measuring A/B experiments focused on finding optimal campaign setup and improving creative and landing page experiences.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of the entire B2B funnel and how advertising can influence each stage from brand awareness to remarketing.
  • Experience with launching and managing campaign types such as Video (YouTube), Display, Demand Gen, or PMax.
  • Familiarity with reporting and data visualization tools beyond Excel and Google Sheets, such as Tableau, Looker, or similar.
  • Ability to build custom reports in Salesforce or other CRMs.

Qualifications

  • Experience managing paid search campaigns with a significant budget (at least $250K monthly).
