About the Role

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the world's most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud platform, offering over 200 fully featured services from data centers globally. Product Marketing is responsible for developing highly differentiated positioning and messaging for AWS and its services. As a Senior Manager in Product Marketing for AWS, you will define and drive the marketing strategy for the rapidly growing AWS streaming and messaging services, creating compelling content to help customers understand use cases and value propositions, and building marketing programs to drive engagement and adoption. This role can be based in Seattle, WA, San Francisco or San Jose, CA, or Boston, MA, with relocation offered only within the USA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own messaging and position of key strategic AWS streaming and messaging services.
  • Collaborate with AWS engineering teams to distill key functionality and benefits of major launches into product marketing messages.
  • Engage with AWS field and digital marketing teams to identify and integrate joint messaging and content into lead generation, customer engagement, and product adoption focused marketing programs.
  • Craft and develop compelling audience-specific messages as well as presentations, customer success stories, and videos.
  • Work with sales to prepare general and specialized sales teams on joint value propositions and messaging.
  • Work effectively across AWS with groups such as engineering, digital marketing, sales, business development, and evangelists to achieve joint business goals.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience.
  • Experience managing teams.
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts, and pivot tables).
  • Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with multiple groups of stakeholders.
  • Experience in e-commerce, digital products, or entertainment industries.

Qualifications

  • Experience managing teams and using data to improve marketing strategies.
  • Proficiency with data tools such as Excel or Tableau.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholder groups.
