Senior Technical Marketing Engineer- NCI

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop expertise about the product, the market, and related industry and competitor news and trends, serving as a knowledge resource for internal teams including systems engineers and marketing.
• Work closely with Product Management and Engineering to review and learn about new capabilities and provide technical feedback based on field experience.
• Create and review technical content such as blogs, best practices guides, reference architectures, diagrams, videos, and tools, ensuring technical accuracy and alignment with product capabilities.
• Maintain and contribute to the Nutanix Bible as the point of contact for technical capabilities and functions of Nutanix Cloud Infrastructure.
• Contribute to the promotion of the product through technical demos, diagrams, and videos used in internal and external assets.
• Translate NCI technical capabilities into business value and outcome-based messaging for product marketing and field enablement.
• Contribute to messaging for NCI, including key value propositions, use cases, customer personas, and pain points.
• Help define key news moments around NCI capabilities and contribute technical expertise to these initiatives.
• Participate in demand generation activities with marketing and product teams, including field marketing, partner marketing, campaigns, programs, events, and digital efforts.
• Act as a spokesperson for Nutanix evangelizing NCI compute at events, webinars, customer briefings, trade shows, and internally for employee enablement.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in technical marketing or a similar role, preferably with storage technologies and cloud native or data center infrastructure knowledge.
• Strong domain expertise in virtualization and storage products, with a deep understanding of traditional IT infrastructure.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or information systems, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Ability to think strategically and work independently as an individual contributor.
• Proven track record supporting worldwide sales teams to meet revenue goals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong executive communication and polished presentation abilities.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud native technologies and datacenter infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Educational background in engineering, computer science, or information systems, or equivalent experience.
