About the Role

The SEO & Paid Search Specialist is responsible for driving the optimization of both organic and sponsored search engine performance to enhance digital visibility, increase high-intent traffic, and improve overall conversion rates. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing performance metrics, and implementing strategies to achieve measurable results within a dynamic environment at B&G Foods, Inc.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement comprehensive SEO strategies to drive organic traffic and improve search rankings for B&G websites.
  • Optimize site structure, metadata, headings, and content for search visibility.
  • Manage SEO activities such as content strategy, link building, and keyword strategy to increase rankings and domain authority.
  • Perform regular SEO audits to identify and resolve issues impacting site performance, such as site speed, mobile optimization, and crawl errors.
  • Generate and present regular SEO reports with actionable insights and recommendations to improve outcomes and ROI.
  • Monitor, track, and analyze SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Bright Local, Google Tag Manager, and Google Search Console.
  • Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify high-value keywords and opportunities for content optimization.
  • Stay current with SEO trends and algorithm updates to ensure strategies align with industry best practices.
  • Perform keyword research and competitive analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities to outperform competitors in search rankings.
  • Optimize content marketing efforts by aligning content with SEO strategies and ensuring it is optimized for target keywords and search intent.
  • Plan, execute, and optimize paid search campaigns across key retailer platforms.
  • Manage budgets, bids, and targeting to maximize ROAS.
  • Monitor campaign performance, generate regular reports, and recommend campaign adjustments for optimization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, digital marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience with consumer-packaged goods is preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in Digital Merchandising within eCommerce.
  • Strong SEO acumen and proficiency in Excel.
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills to identify and address root causes.
  • Effective task management, deadline adherence, and clear communication of results.
  • Persuasive written and oral communication skills.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and results-focused.
  • Adaptable to change, self-motivated, and enthusiastic about learning.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented, comfortable working across multiple functions.
