About the Role

As a Services Account Manager at Trane Technologies, you will join the company's best-in-class Commercial HVAC team to make a difference in building efficiency and sustainability through service offerings. The role involves developing long-term customer relationships with building owners, focusing on providing total solutions for energy-efficient buildings, and contributing to the company's mission of creating comfortable, sustainable, and efficient environments. The position offers a hybrid work schedule with onsite presence three days a week and is integral to advancing the company's strategic goals in sustainability and customer value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take a consultative and strategic approach to pursue new business and grow existing account relationships.
  • Effectively target and identify opportunities, facilitate discovery, and qualify opportunities early in the buying and selling process.
  • Facilitate engaging conversations that lead to relevant next steps.
  • Lead customer conversations with business level insights to establish value and create demand.
  • Actively listen to identify customer concerns.
  • Help customers buy by developing project business cases, financial proformas, and validating business outcomes.
  • Gather and validate preliminary information, perform facility walk-throughs, construction plan reviews, or other requirements.
  • Sell, renew, and expand service agreements to both new and existing customers.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of demonstrated experience or a bachelor's degree.
  • 3+ years of solution sales experience with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to engage multiple stakeholders, influencers, and key decision makers.
  • Strong financial and business acumen and a self-starter mindset.
  • Available for local travel.
  • Valid driver license with no major or frequent traffic violations in the past 3 years, including DUI, hit & run, license suspension, reckless/careless driving, or multiple smaller infractions.

  • Candidates without a 4-year degree are encouraged to apply; practical experience and relevant skills are prioritized.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience or a bachelor's degree.
  • 3+ years of solution sales experience.
  • Valid driver license with clean driving record in the past 3 years.
