Social Media & Events Specialist

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, plan, and schedule engaging, channel-specific content that tells the Formation story.
• Shoot and edit photo and video content for reels, stories, and posts.
• Maintain and organize media assets.
• Build and manage social calendars in collaboration with the marketing team.
• Write and post engaging content using Formation's brand voice.
• Schedule and publish content across all channels.
• Monitor analytics and optimize strategies for reach, engagement, and conversions.
• Engage directly with followers to foster community and brand loyalty.
• Create weekly and monthly performance reports.
• Attend Formation events, releases, and activations to capture content in real time.
• Post live stories and updates during events.
• Collaborate with taproom staff to showcase the customer experience.
• Assist with event set-up, tear-down, and promotions.
• Write and post event-related copy across marketing channels.
• Support website and e-commerce content alignment with social campaigns.
• Support email marketing content & campaigns.
• Support light graphic design needs for social media and events.
• Participate in weekly marketing meetings and brainstorms.
• Collaborate with the team on influencer partnerships and creative campaigns.

Requirements

• Passion for content creation and storytelling through social media.
• Strong sense of trends with the ability to adapt them to Formation's brand.
• Experience with photography & videography (shooting, editing, posting).
• Proficiency with social platforms and scheduling software: Instagram, Meta, TikTok, Reels, X, YouTube, Sprout Social.
• Strong copywriting skills, with the ability to write engaging, on-brand posts.
• Familiarity with project management platforms and social scheduling tools.
• Strong organizational & time management skills.
• Availability on weeknights and weekends for event coverage.
• Customer service-oriented and comfortable interacting with taproom guests and the online community.
• Basic design skills (Adobe Creative Suite / Canva).
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

• Entry level experience acceptable, with a focus on content creation, social media management, and event support.

Benefits & Perks

• Part-time pay of $24.00 - $28.00 per hour.
• Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week, with potential for additional hours in the Taproom.
• Hybrid remote work in Phoenix, AZ 85004.
