About the Role

Our healthcare client is looking for a Social Media Coordinator to handle a leave coverage. This contract will begin at 20 hours per week for the first 1-2 months, and 40 hours per week during the leave coverage (~3 months). This role will start in mid-September 2025 and go about 4+ months. This is a fully remote opportunity, although there is an option to go onsite, if wanted, in the greater Tacoma-area. Candidates located on the West Coast will be prioritized. In this role, the Social Media Coordinator will handle community management, scheduling, engagement, DMs, comments, messages, etc., working within an existing content calendar for up to 10 social media accounts across Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn, including social media photos, reels, and video stories. The role may involve creating assets using Canva and some copywriting for posts.

Key Responsibilities

Handle community management, scheduling, engagement, DMs, comments, messages, etc.
Work within an existing content calendar for up to 10 social media accounts on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
Create social media assets such as photos, reels, and video stories, potentially using Canva if the design team lacks bandwidth.
Write copy for social media posts.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in social media management or related roles.
Experience with Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
Experience with SproutSocial.
Experience writing social media copy.
Experience creating animation or motion graphics is a bonus.
Strong communication skills.
Comfortable taking ownership of tasks and working independently.

Qualifications

Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
