Social Media Marketing Intern

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Create engaging content across Liberal Arts Career Services' official social media platforms (Instagram and LinkedIn), including videos and eye-catching graphics.
• Research trending topics, content formats, hashtags, and best practices to increase engagement.
• Develop marketing plans that align with event schedules, recruiting cycles, and trends.
• Design creative visuals for social media, print, digital signage, and other marketing needs.
• Draft copy for social media and other outreach efforts.
• Provide live coverage of events such as Career Fairs, employer events, and alumni speaking engagements.

Requirements

• Ability to create engaging social media content including videos and graphics.
• Research skills to identify trending topics and best practices.
• Experience in developing marketing plans and designing visuals.
• Strong copywriting skills for social media and outreach materials.
• Willingness to cover events live and support outreach activities.
