About the Role

The Software Partner Solutions Director plays a key leadership role across SAP North America and the Market Unit by working with Third Party Software Partners. The role's key responsibilities are to drive revenue through Partner Orchestration by effectively leveraging experiences and operationalizing the Regulated Industries Market Unit Strategy. The position involves managing 2-3 Software Partners, establishing trusting relationships, and fostering a positive, collaborative team environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Integrate Partner & SAP across Sales, Alliances, Marketing and Solution
  • Set Market Unit Strategy across all Partners
  • Tailor demand generation tactics
  • Partner Orchestration to ensure accountability and success
  • Represent SAP in partner offices and at partner-sponsored events
  • Deliver in-person presentations to Partners Sales and Alliance Teams
  • Drive deal execution (CQ) and expansion (Q+1, Q+2)
  • Be responsible for MU annual 3PS revenue and manage MU forecast
  • Establish Relationship Plan across 3PS (External / Internal)
  • Create and foster a positive team environment
  • Communicate to develop clear, insightful, approachable, and optimistic experiences

Requirements

  • SAP NA field experience
  • 7+ years experience in the software industry in a sales or related role
  • Experience in developing and executing strategic partnerships
  • Strong analytical competencies and ability to communicate and influence (MS Office Products)
  • Ability to identify, develop, champion, and execute strategic initiatives with highly complex partners
  • Proven software industry business development skills
  • Ability to work in a team and collaborate across matrixed reporting lines
  • Experience leading change initiatives and thriving in ambiguity
  • BA or BS degree or equivalent
  • Expectations to be in office 2-3 days per week with partners
  • Willingness to travel 0-30%

  • Experience in forging initiatives and GTM sales pipeline/opportunity development plans
