The role of Sr. Brand Manager, Brand Communications for Ore-Ida involves leading communications efforts for an iconic brand at a pivotal growth stage, working with agency partners and internal teams to drive brand equity and connect with consumers, especially younger generations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own breakthrough communications that will build brand equity and drive long-term growth for the business
  • Own end to end creative strategy
  • Develop creative briefs for external collaborators, including defining the business problem to be solved
  • Manage feedback and discussions with lead agency
  • Think strategically and holistically across the full marketing mix, with a focus on brand KPIs
  • Build research frameworks for creative development in collaboration with the Insights team
  • Influence and collaborate with category marketing, central marketing, consumer insights, sales, finance, and agency partners to execute creative ideas and activations
  • Internal selling of brand communications strategy to business and organizational leadership
  • Influence agency partners to deliver best-in-class ideas and prioritize resources for Ore-Ida
  • Deliver creative strategies on budget and on time, optimizing marketing mix return
  • Manage Brand Communications Analyst and inspire other cross-functional team members

Requirements

  • Creative innovator with the courage to stand up for ideas and a passion for brand, design, and consumer experience
  • Proven track record of results-driven leadership
  • Operate with agility, with strong problem-solving and simplification skills
  • Excellent communication, influence, and relationship-building skills in a cross-functional environment
  • Proven collaborator who can bring teams together to solve problems
  • Experience in marketing for a CPG company or supporting agency-side roles such as advertising, consulting, or media
  • Ability to model resiliency in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment with multiple projects

  • Experience leading communications for a growing or iconic brand
  • Experience working with agency partners and cross-functional teams
  • Strong strategic thinking and creative development skills

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting marketing in a CPG environment or on the agency side
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills

  • Ability to operate with agility and manage multiple projects
