About the Role

Kenvue is currently recruiting for a Senior Omni Category Insights Analyst. This role is based in Rogers, Arkansas, supporting Walmart and reports into the Category Excellence team. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding support to Walmart Merchandising during the modular relay process and provide insightful weekly reporting to the customer.
  • Provide unbiased strategic and tactical insights and recommendations to Walmart Merchant on Distribution, Shelving, Merchandising, Pricing, & Promotional opportunities to improve category performance in store and online.
  • Uncover business opportunities with analytics using a category toolkit including POS/Retail Link, Syndicated Data, Marketplace & HH Panel Assessments, Luminate, and Ad/Promotion Review.
  • Work with internal Shopper/Category partners on research opportunities: provide voice-of-customer, facilitate research projects, and activate findings to be customer-specific.
  • Influence and execute the modular activation of merchandising improvements, efficient assortment, and clustering solutions.
  • Develop and share best practices to enhance the entire category management team.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of 2 years in the CPG industry—customer analytics, customer insights, category management, and/or shopper insights for consumer or relevant business experience.
  • Deep analytical expertise and experience working with Retail Link/Luminate syndicated data, panel data, shopper-card data, and other research.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships.

Nice to Have

  • Deep analytical expertise and experience working with JDA Pro Space.
  • Fluent in interpreting shopper and category insights research and a strong understanding of syndicated data (IRI or Nielsen) and panel data (e.g., Numerator).
  • Knowledge of computer technology, analytical software programs (PowerBI, Numerator, Alteryx), MS Office Suite, and database management, including development of queries and assessment of data.
  • Ability to develop and manage project plans and to implement, execute, and draw conclusions from various customer, category, and shopper studies.
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to tailor presentation style to key decision makers.
  • Ability to understand, interpret, and communicate complex information across multiple levels.
  • Experience with space planning software.
  • Working experience with Walmart is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Educational background: Bachelor's degree or higher.
