Sr. Director, Marketing Science

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Inspire and lead teams responsible for driving Snapchat's advertiser retention through measurement strategy, processes, organizational design, analysis, learning frameworks, consulting, and research and development.
• Define and propel measurement and insights strategy, delivering insights to customers in coordination with Snap's Product, Engineering, Strategy, Sales, and other organizations.
• Elevate the organizational impact and operational efficiency of the Marketing Science organization, focusing on measurement and insights strategy, methodology, and operations.
• Develop organizational goals and drive product and growth commitments in partnership with cross-functional teams within Snap.
• Build, mentor, and grow a team of senior managers and individual contributors.
• Influence key decisions and implement scalable, reliable, and cost-effective solutions for clients, agencies, and partners.
• Iterate quickly without compromising quality and raise operational standards.

Requirements

• BS/BA or equivalent experience.
• 15+ years of product, analysis, or measurement experience in digital ads or related space.
• 5+ years of experience managing a team.
• Ability to collaborate strategically across all organizational levels, from C-Levels to engineers and designers.
• Ability to inspire and mentor teams and cross-functional groups.
• Strong execution skills against both tactical and strategic objectives.
• Experience initiating and completing emerging projects from strategy to execution.
• Effective communication of results across a matrix organization.
• A seasoned strategic leader and product-minded thinker.
• Passion for Snapchat and creative problem solving.

Nice to Have

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, engineering, or finance, or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading large teams with a focus on driving efficiency.
• Experience partnering with cross-functional executives and management across a globally distributed organization.
• Track record of delivering results in rapidly changing, collaborative, multi-site, multi-stakeholder environments.

Qualifications

• Educational background in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Extensive experience in digital advertising, measurement, or related areas.
• Proven leadership experience managing teams at scale.
