Sr. Manager Marketing- Rare Disease (Remote)

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Support implementation of medical marketing brand plan to Ocular Subspecialists through initiatives including advisory boards, symposia, and peer-to-peer programs (live and remote).
• Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the disease state, competitive landscape, and therapeutic management of Thyroid Eye Disease, as well as managed care and infusion center dynamics.
• Manage and enhance external relationships with thought leaders and strategic business partners.
• Leverage business insights and expert feedback to develop and review the annual brand plan, and execute brand strategies to meet or exceed business goals.
• Develop and project-manage promotional tactics and programs, including conference planning and peer-to-peer resources for the sales force.
• Track marketing program effectiveness and optimize marketing programs continuously.
• Execute multiple projects simultaneously, manage resources, timelines, and budgets, including development of work plans and routing promotional materials through medical, regulatory, and legal review.
• Manage external partners such as ad agencies, meeting planners, market researchers, and consultants to ensure strategy and messaging consistency.
• Negotiate with vendors to drive value for the brand and work with contracts, pharmacovigilance, and compliance on agreements.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree and 2 years of digital marketing experience, or
• Master's degree and 4 years of digital marketing experience, or
• Bachelor's degree and 6 years of digital marketing experience, or
• Associate's degree and 10 years of digital marketing experience, or
• High school diploma / GED and 12 years of digital marketing experience.

• Understanding of brand management principles including positioning, messaging, and campaign execution.

• Requires approximately 30% travel, including overnight and weekend commitments.
