About the Role

The Sr. Marketing Campaign Manager at Citrix Systems is a high-impact role focused on developing and executing aggressive marketing campaigns aimed at displacing competitors. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the execution of aggressive, multi-channel compete campaigns designed to convert customers from rival companies and create account intimacy.
  • Collaborate with teams on competitor analysis to identify strategic weaknesses, product gaps, and market opportunities for targeted marketing programs.
  • Design and implement 'always-on' competitive campaigns to maintain pressure, intercept key accounts, and capture market share.
  • Manage the entire campaign lifecycle, including intelligence gathering, strategy formulation, execution, optimization, and post-campaign analysis.
  • Partner with and direct external agencies to ensure campaign activities are sharp, on-brand, and goal-focused.
  • Serve as the company's subject matter expert and primary driver for competitive marketing campaigns, aligning internal teams around a unified GTM approach.
  • Translate complex competitive intelligence and business objectives into clear, impactful campaign plans.
  • Communicate campaign strategies, progress, and results to stakeholders, including executive leadership.
  • Define and own KPIs for all campaigns, focusing on competitor displacement, logos acquired, and market share shifts.
  • Lead post-campaign inspections to analyze performance, identify lessons learned, and improve future strategies.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Operations to build and refine reporting dashboards for real-time campaign performance insights.
  • Analyze campaign data to measure account takeover and optimize strategies for maximum impact.
  • Manage the campaign budget with accuracy, providing forecasts and updates on spend.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape, including rivals' strategies, products, pricing, and vulnerabilities.
  • Work with market intelligence teams to ensure a flow of actionable insights for marketing campaigns.
  • Use customer and competitive data to craft targeted messaging highlighting Citrix's advantages.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in campaign management or performance marketing with a focus on competitive strategy, preferably in B2B technology.
  • Successful track record of developing and executing marketing campaigns that impact competitors and drive growth.
  • Tenacious, results-obsessed mindset with a proactive, creative approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in competitive intelligence gathering and analysis.
  • Excellent project management skills in fast-paced, competitive environments.
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Data-driven with expertise in marketing analytics, reporting, and proving campaign success.
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Eloqua), CRM systems (e.g., Oracle), and competitive intelligence tools.
  • Oral and written fluency in English.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
