About the Role

The Strategic Area Sales Vice President will lead a specific geographical area by managing a team of Strategic Regional Sales Director(s) and sellers responsible for selling across the entire SHI portfolio within the Strategic sales segment. This role involves developing and executing sales strategies to maximize business growth, building strong client relationships, and fostering a high-performance sales culture. The position is remote within the assigned geographic area and reports to the Vice President of Sales, Strategic. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve area sales targets and drive revenue growth.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the area sales team, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners within the area.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales initiatives with market trends and customer needs.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in sales operations.
  • Conduct regular sales training and development programs to enhance team capabilities.
  • Represent the area at industry events and conferences, promoting the company's brand and offerings.
  • Manage area sales budgets and forecasts to optimize resource allocation and financial performance.
  • Drive customer satisfaction and retention through exceptional service and support.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to oversee and optimize client accounts to achieve sales targets.
  • Expertise in establishing and nurturing client relationships to drive growth.
  • Ability to manage and grow existing customer relationships effectively.
  • Comprehension of the inner workings of a company to inform decision-making and drive growth.
  • Proficiency in utilizing CRM software to manage customer relationships and sales data.
  • Ability to effectively manage and evaluate the performance of oneself, individuals, and teams to achieve organizational goals.
  • Completed Bachelor's Degree in a related field or relevant work experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in sales.
  • 10+ years of experience in a management position.
  • Ability to travel to SHI, Partner, and Customer Events and travel up to 60%.

  • Completed Master's Degree in a related field or relevant work experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or relevant work experience.
  • Master's Degree in a related field or relevant work experience (preferred).
  • 10+ years of sales experience.
  • 10+ years of management experience.

Benefits & Perks

  • Estimated annual pay range of $325,000 - $425,000, including base salary and commissions.
  • Benefits may include medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
