About the Role

The Strategic Partner Development Manager, Play Partnerships role at Google involves seeking and building new business and product opportunities within the Google Play ecosystem. The position focuses on managing and growing partnerships with mobile game developers, supporting integration and growth strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive value for partners and users. The role is part of the Partnerships Development team responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners and helping them leverage Google's products and tools to expand their business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and help grow partnerships with mobile game developers, and build trusted long-term partner relationships by helping bring partners the best of Play's tools and offerings.
  • Support partners on integrating early access products and key priority programs.
  • Develop an understanding of growth consulting, analyzing key game metrics to help partners' games grow.
  • Help strategic partners execute opportunities to deliver on their goals.
  • Build relationships and work with a cross-functional network of internal Google teams to collectively drive value to developers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.

Nice to Have

  • Master's degree or other advanced degree.
  • Experience working autonomously in a dynamic, ever-changing, and collaborative environment.
  • Experience managing partnerships.
  • Ability to identify potential business opportunities, assess financial/business benefit, structure agreements, and discuss terms with strategic partners.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.

Qualifications

  • Formal educational background includes a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Benefits & Perks

  • US base salary range for this full-time position is $134,000-$196,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
  • Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, with individual pay influenced by work location, skills, experience, and education.
  • Additional benefits are available, details of which can be shared during the hiring process.
