Supervisor, Search Engine Marketing

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Act as main day-to-day point of contact for the client, providing strategic recommendations and analysis.
• Manage the execution of clients' Search program, including overseeing analyst level resources assigned to client accounts.
• Analyze performance data and provide insights, interpretations, and action plans based on conclusions.
• Work with Search senior leadership to develop Paid Search strategy, testing methodology, and roadmap for clients, and present strategies effectively.
• Contribute to team training and learning initiatives by leading cross-learning sessions among analyst level team members.
• Manage daily relationships with key search engine representatives.
• Provide support on new business initiatives.

Requirements

• 2.5+ years' experience directly related to Search Engine Marketing (Google, Yahoo!, Bing, etc.) with a focus on direct response campaigns (CPA, CPL, ROI, ROAS).
• 1+ years' experience working with bid management platforms (Marin, Kenshoo, DS3) and site-side analytics packages (Google Analytics, SiteCatalyst, etc.).
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate clearly and effectively in person and in writing.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities.
• A self-starter with strong writing and communication skills.
• A detailed-oriented individual with strong time management and organization skills.
• Ability to be solutions-oriented and a problem solver.
• Desire and aptitude for training, motivating, and managing individuals at multiple levels.
• Advanced quantitative skills, including advanced Excel skills.
• Eagerness to learn about Search Engine Marketing in a fast-growing environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with bid management platforms such as Marin, Kenshoo, DS3.
• Experience with site-side analytics packages like Google Analytics or SiteCatalyst.
• Ability to guide and mentor team members.
