About the Role

The Technical Marketing Engineer at YAGEO Group acts as a translator between market needs and product features, focusing on creating content, messaging, and experiences to keep YAGEO Group solutions top-of-mind with engineering audiences and to enable their design success. The role involves understanding market trends, collaborating with content creators, supporting technical events, and working closely with the digital marketing team to drive growth and engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Research and follow technological market trends to ensure alignment and relevance of content.
Create content supporting design engineering, including application notes, white papers, blog posts, technical marketing collateral, digital assets, short clips, and videos.
Review, edit, and modify existing or submitted content and assets to adhere to branding and technical standards.
Collaborate with external content creation suppliers to ensure successful delivery of content, including reviews for technical accuracy and messaging.
Prepare and review presentation materials.
Collaborate with the digital marketing team to identify key areas of content placement and interactions to enable growth of the marketing automation platform.
Participate in and support technical forums, industry events, and speaking engagements.
Coordinate and execute logistics for US technical events.
Travel 10% to 20% for trade shows and other US facilities.
Work with the technical marketing department and YAGEO Group team to produce compelling content and experiences.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Circuit design and validation experience.
Analog, power, and digital design experience.
Experience with DC/DC, AC/DC, and inverter topologies.
Exceptional writing, presenting, and speaking skills.
Ability to create engaging content from concise source material.
Proficiency with MS Office suite, especially advanced PowerPoint skills.
Experience with content management systems like WordPress and Adobe (desirable).
Video editing experience (a plus).
Familiarity with Wrike (a plus).
Knowledge of power distribution network design and analysis.
Design experience with switched mode power supplies and charging systems (wired and wireless).
Knowledge of signal conditioning, filter design, AC power, and multi-phase systems.
