Job Description

About the Role

International is seeking a Truck Sales Manager to manage our Northeast region. This leadership role is responsible for managing the IN, IL, PA region to sell the company's products and services through the dealer channel. An expert in applying established standards to solve complex problems, even when no precedent exists. Uses sound judgment and best practices to improve products, services, and processes, leveraging deep knowledge of the field and business issues. Networks with senior leaders both internally and externally. This role is remote with a preference for home office location in IN, IL or PA area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide necessary coaching and support for dealer sales representatives to conquest new business and retain existing customers
  • Achieve sales results and margin by developing and implementing sales strategies and tactics, as well as developing new accounts and/or expanding existing accounts
  • Perform as a resource with high level knowledge of company products and services
  • Work hand in hand with local distributors
  • Promote electric and autonomous vehicles
  • Grow unique customer accounts
  • Develop relationships with strategic prospects and customers

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 8 years of sales experience
  • At least 1 year of lead experience
  • Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States
  • Proven ability to find, develop and close opportunities with new customers
  • Proven ability to manage retention of customers
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from initial customer contact to successfully winning business
  • Ability to build long-term compelling relationships
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Strong/Confident storytelling capabilities
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization

  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of International and our services
  • Proven ability to position International against competitors
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
