About the Role

Fairlife, LLC is a Chicago-based nutrition company that creates great-tasting, nutrition-rich and dairy products to nourish consumers. With over $3 billion in annual retail sales, its portfolio includes lactose-free, real dairy products such as fairlife ultra-filtered milk, Core Power High Protein Shakes, and fairlife nutrition plan. The company seeks a world-class marketer to lead its Complete Nutrition Portfolio, develop consumer-centric brand plans, and drive growth and brand preference.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of annual brand plans that leverage consumer, category, and customer insights to create clear and compelling growth strategies and key initiatives
  • Develop insights-led innovation and renovation focused on creating enduring edge for consumers and customers
  • Partner with commercial, sales, and finance teams to establish aggressive yet attainable growth targets aligned with marketing investment
  • Steer performance and DME during the year to ensure annual plan targets are achieved, adjusting based on macro-environment, category dynamics, and in-market results
  • Lead the development of impactful creative to bring brand architecture to life
  • Create holistic connection plans that drive consumer engagement and optimize ROI based on in-market results and marketing learnings
  • Infuse a test-and-learn mindset across all creative and communications to deepen consumer connection, drive trial, and build brand preference
  • Partner with commercial, sales, and digital teams to align availability and plans across channels and emerging platforms for seamless consumer experiences
  • Lead and develop a team of 7 brand marketers and collaborate with agency partners, establishing clear performance goals and supporting professional growth

Requirements

  • 15+ years of brand marketing experience with increasing responsibility, including at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Experience in a blue-chip consumer packaged goods company followed by experience in a small to mid-size company
  • Undergraduate degree required; MBA highly desirable
  • Strong consumer marketing expertise with a GM mindset, leading with data and insights to shape strategy
  • Competence in finance, sales, and operations to inform decision-making
  • Strategic thinking focused on winning today and building for the future
  • Well-versed in the latest marketing mediums and tools to drive trial and brand preference
  • Exceptional leadership skills capable of inspiring and building high-performing teams
  • Results-driven self-starter with accountability and perseverance
  • Collaborative, team-based approach with strong communication skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience with digital marketing platforms and emerging channels
  • Knowledge of the consumer packaged goods industry and market trends

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree (required)
  • MBA (highly desirable)
