About the Role

The Vice President, Strategy position at Inizio Evoke is a senior leadership role within the Strategy team, serving clients in the life science industry. The role involves delivering high-quality work, facilitating growth of department and agency capabilities, and understanding marketplace needs and industry changes. This is a remote position reporting to the Senior Vice President, Strategy, with a focus on making health more human and driving innovation in healthcare marketing and communications.

Key Responsibilities

Lead evolution and innovation by developing new approaches, ideas, and services; leading internal process improvements to optimize quality and efficiency; motivating and mentoring team members to enhance creativity and innovative thinking.
Plan and promote employee growth based on individual skills and agency/market needs.
Serve as a thought leader and subject matter expert on client challenges or marketplace dynamics.
Make evidence-based strategic decisions that balance business needs, invite challenging viewpoints, and resolve conflicts when necessary.
Explain ideas, partner with teams to gain support, and align on core ideas and approaches.
Act as a strategic lead in new business pitches and engage early in the process to uncover client needs and develop solutions.

Requirements

Minimum 10 years of total business experience.
At least 5 years of experience in healthcare marketing or communications agency work, with demonstrated career progress focused on engagement and innovation.
Experience managing brand strategy for high science oncology brands.
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree.
Experience developing successful healthcare marketing strategies and execution plans.
Digital marketing expertise, including leveraging user insights, developing strategies into digital tactical plans, and implementing across multiple platforms.
Demonstrated people management experience.
Ability to present marketing and strategic plans to key client decision makers.
Leadership experience in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

Minimum 10 years of total business experience.
5+ years in healthcare marketing or communications agency experience.
Experience managing brand strategy for high science oncology brands.
Bachelor's degree.
