About the Role

The VP - Brand & Content Media at ZO Skin Health, Inc is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive brand and content strategies to enhance brand awareness, engagement, and loyalty across global markets. This leadership role involves overseeing creative direction, social media, PR, events, and cross-functional collaboration within the skincare industry, ensuring consistency and excellence in all brand-related initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Craft and implement a holistic brand strategy that aligns with the company's vision, driving awareness, engagement, and loyalty across all consumer touchpoints.
  • Oversee the evolution of the brand identity, ensuring it remains relevant and distinctive in the physician-dispensed and direct-to-consumer markets.
  • Develop and manage a content strategy that drives brand storytelling, product education, and customer engagement across digital and physical platforms.
  • Lead the creative team in developing innovative content across all channels, including digital, print, and video, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Oversee content production across social media, education, e-commerce, and email marketing platforms.
  • Lead the social media team in executing strategies to enhance brand visibility and community engagement, monitoring trends to optimize efforts.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive PR strategy to enhance brand reputation and visibility, maintaining relationships with media outlets, influencers, and stakeholders.
  • Lead the planning and execution of brand events, including product launches, influencer events, and industry conferences.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary global team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Manage the global content and creative team, oversee onboarding of external agencies and talent, and ensure global consistency.
  • Oversee the department's budget, ensuring cost-effective initiatives and evaluating ROI of brand activities.
  • Manage relationships with creative, PR, and social agencies, including contract negotiations and vendor management.
  • Partner with various internal teams and international markets on product promotions, brand initiatives, and adherence to global brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate with finance to manage the department's budget and address financial risks.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of related experience in content creation, creative direction, and 2D/3D design in prestige or luxury markets.
  • Bachelor's degree in a creative field; advanced education highly desired.
  • Proven leadership with significant team management experience.
  • Outstanding communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
  • Experience in international markets and managing global teams.
  • Ability to multi-task and plan effectively with practiced negotiation skills.
  • Strong network of senior-level contacts in the beauty, creative, PR, social, and media industries.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with 2D animation and social media management.
