VP of Sales and Business Development

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Build and lead a high-performing sales team (hunting + partner enablement)
• Own revenue targets and pipeline forecasting
• Drive outbound sales strategy, including channel, ISV, and direct
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations to align GTM efforts
• Recruit, coach, and retain top talent
• Optimize sales processes, CRM usage, and reporting

Requirements

• Have 5+ years in B2B payments and/or SaaS sales leadership roles
• Know how to sell to SMBs and ISVs
• Understand interchange, surcharging, dual pricing, and chargeback mitigation
• Have successfully led sales in early-stage, high-growth environments
• Think like an operator, not just a seller—someone who wants to scale and win

Nice to Have

• Previous experience selling into ERP platforms
• Rolodex of payments partners, VARs, or channel resellers
• Experience building affiliate or referral-based revenue programs

Qualifications

• Experience in payments industry and SaaS sales
• Proven track record of performance, leadership, and strategic insight
