About the Role

The VP of Product Marketing at OneTrust is responsible for scaling the Product Marketing team to drive product innovation, growth, and adoption across all solution areas. Reporting to the CMO and collaborating with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams, this role involves defining and executing go-to-market strategies, building category leadership, and influencing cross-functional initiatives to maximize customer value and revenue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a true GTM strategist, with an informed point of view on solutions, markets, competition, buyer personas, ICPs, and the customer lifecycle to facilitate impact and value for customers.
  • Translate GTM strategy into actionable plans across Product Marketing, Marketing, Product, and other organizational units to drive impact.
  • Serve as a passionate spokesperson for OneTrust and its solutions both internally and externally, delivering compelling narratives on category leadership, product positioning, and solutions.
  • Coach and scale a world-class Product Marketing team, fostering expertise, credibility, and teamwork, and ensuring alignment with sales, marketing, product, customer success, partners, and customers.
  • Lead efforts in pricing and packaging, analyst relations, and competitive intelligence to support GTM success.
  • Collaborate closely with Product leadership from inception to launch of new products, ensuring focus on customer value and targeted personas.
  • Work with Sales and Partner Enablement teams to prepare field teams and partners to be trusted advisors and experts in solutions mapping to business pain and value.
  • Orchestrate integrated marketing campaigns to reach the right personas with the right messaging at the right times, consistently exceeding revenue targets.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of successful B2B software product marketing experience.
  • 10+ years of management experience, including 2nd level management.
  • Demonstrable ability to synthesize and translate market needs into product requirements and positioning.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting to senior leaders, analysts, customers, and partners.
  • Data-driven decision-making skills using qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Strong leadership qualities with a player-coach mindset and ownership mentality.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% or more as needed.
  • Well-versed in rationalizing complex portfolios across buyer personas and markets.
  • Passion for working in a lean, dynamic organization with a focus on process refinement and excellence.

  • Experience in privacy, security, or data governance markets and enterprise risk and compliance challenges.
